So what am I paying for?

Time. And consumables obviously. But most of all, you are paying for time.

Time spent giving your car the care and attention it needs in order to give it a faultless finish that is protected from the elements.

Time is something that, in modern life, is a luxury. With the hustle and bustle of work, social events, family… it’s hard to set your own time aside to do something that you most likely don’t enjoy. I know countless people who couldn’t think of anything worse than spending those few hours a week they have spare cleaning a car.

Time is also the reason for the increase in popularity of the machine and hand car wash. They are convenient, easy, and cheap. On your drive to work, call in, and in 15 minutes your car is “clean” (I use the term loosely). Problem is, your car is not clean, and the damage done in those 15 minutes costs a lot to put right, I’ve seen more than few people who have needed panels to be painted against after using these services. That 15 minute £10 wash suddenly doesn’t feel like so much of a bargain.

If you would like to use any of my services, you don’t have to stand around waiting. If you bring the car to me, I can drop you back off at home, or wherever you want to go whilst I work on your car. Or if I come to you, you can go out whilst I do my thing (I’ll still need access to water/electricity). You get to retain your time, and spend it doing what you want, but with the knowledge that your car is in safe hands, and will look amazing when finished.

Detailing is a passion for me. It’s something I enjoy doing. The satisfaction of a job well done, and the appreciation from an owner upon seeing their car transformed is what inspires me to do this job. It’s not for everyone, but for those who WANT to do it, but don’t know where to start, I’m more than happy to talk through each process to help you understand why it’s important, what it does, how to do it and what products you would need to do it yourself.

Your car is most likely going to be one of your most expensive assets, it’s worth spending a little more money ensuring it is cleaned properly and, most importantly, safely.
